"Melex type"  3MS180 and 3MS200 monoblocks consist of positive tubular plates and negative pasted grid plates. Positive plates are separated from the negative plates by separators of microporous structure. They are characterized by its compact design. Excellent work parameters has been achieved  through the use of the positive tubular plate. This is a versatile power source for many types of vehicles such as golf carts, wheelchairs for the disabled and others.

Application of the positive band of tubular plate for ultra-high durability and battery life even reaching 1200 cycles (about five years of operation).

Construction details:

1. positive tubular plate - cores are casted on low pressure caster, of an alloy of lead with 6% content antimony, next the cores are placed in the gauntlets made of a special acid-resistant porous material.
After filling, the mass of the active plates are subject to a process of cementation.

2. Negative pasted plate - grates are cast from lead alloy. The active mass is applied to the grid method of polishing.

3. The separator is made of microporous material with the addition of glacial silica.

4. The vessel is made of polypropylene, resistant to high and low temperature, permanently welded to the lid.

5. The plug is ventilated
